Donna’s work is Inspired by nature, and the play of light, line and color.  She’s influenced by the essence of landscapes she experiences.  She is a Landscaper Architect and as a designer looks at the world a bit differently in terms of form and light.

Donna has worked in a variety of mediums over the years and developed a number of techniques, combining various mediums ranging from watercolors and oil pastels through mixes of oil, paper and acrylic. She has settled in to working in Acrylics, which allows her to work quickly, keeping the creative process fresh and responsive to developing ideas. Her body of work in the last 5 years has been a creative expression of nature and horses.  This year she has taken that creative expression to exploring the portrayal of other animals in a more creative, artful way.  

Her journey through art is to provide the viewers with images of nature expressed not so much by actual form, but in the essence of the elements and how forms can be seen differently by playing with light, line and color.
